MIDFIX, Power Park

READ PROJECT SPECIFICATION

Accent Office Interiors were once again proud to partner with MIDFIX for the complete refurbishment and fitout of their new 107,500 ft² headquarters on the new Power Park Estate in Nottingham.

Building on a successful history of collaboration, MIDFIX engaged Accent early on in the process to ensure a seamless delivery of both phases of the project. Phase 1 focused on the fitout of their 90,000 ft² warehouse and workshop space enabling MIDFIX to transition into the warehouse end of April, while Phase 2 delivered design, construction and fitout  of 17,500ft² of office space, more than doubling the existing two storey offices, with relocation carried out early August. The aim of the project, was to consolidate MIDFIX’s offices, warehouse and workshop into one functional space while ensuring there was minimal disruption to business activity throughout the relocation.

The 8 month project saw the full fitout of the Warehouse shell including full fire alarm, energy-efficient LED lighting and power distribution. A large workshop facility was created in an element of the warehouse area providing a fully functioning metal and woodworking workshop for the ongoing success of MIDFIX pre-fabrication side of the business.

The office fitout included construction of a new two tier mezzanine floor with concrete sub floor to enable continuation of the raised access floor from the existing office accommodation to provide a contemporary HQ that could support continued growth. This was delivered through provision of a new meeting room suite, large canteen, locker room, gym, additional WCs and shower and a full open plan office space creating a light and spacious working environment.

Angela Potts, Head of Business Services at MIDFIX, praised the final result as “amazing,” highlighting the enthusiasm of the team and Accent’s ability to listen and deliver solutions aligned with their needs.

Rodney Hibbert, Sales Director at Accent, echoed the sentiment, saying it was a “rewarding project to be a part of and the final results produced by our team are highly impressive and a testament to the hard work put in by all involved.”

The success of this project further strengthens the ongoing partnership between MIDFIX and Accent, and we look forward to more collaborations in the future.
