Secure-a-Field

Secure-a-Field, an established but fast-growing supplier and installer of fencing, gates and bridges, embarked on a journey to revitalise a disused, 6000sqft farm building into a dynamic facility aimed at facilitating their future growth plans.

The project’s primary objective was to create an efficient and functional workspace. Facing the unique challenge of revitalising an aged agricultural structure, the team started by completing a comprehensive overhaul, including a new insulated roof, cladding, external windows, doors, and an insulated concrete floor slab.  This was followed by the construction of a modern, roomy and light office space inside that included private meeting rooms, open office spaces, canteen and rest areas.

“Communication was the key to this successful project,” emphasised Rodney Hibbert, Sales Director at Accent Office Interiors Ltd. “We worked closely with the landlord to ensure a seamless project delivery, meeting Secure-a-Field’s specific requirements for their space.”

The 10-week endeavour, marked by notable milestones, witnessed the transformation of a disused farm building into a thriving office environment. “It’s transformed this old farm building into lovely office space and the project ran on time and under budget,” remarked Oliver Lloyd, Director of Secure-a-Field Ltd. “The revamped workspace not only supports our current operations but also positions us for future growth, including catering for our recent acquisition of Sheffield based, K Barriers Ltd.”

Designed to accommodate up to 20 office staff, the new space reflects key design choices aimed at bringing fresh energy and increased collaboration to the team. “Our goal was to create a workspace that aligns with Secure-a-Field’s vision for growth and innovation,” added Hibbert.

The completion of the project marks a significant milestone for Secure-a-Field, offering a workspace that unites all office staff under one roof. “This transformation will undoubtedly speed up our operations and contribute to achieving our strategic objectives,” Lloyd affirmed.
